| Whistler Resort Homes Ltd. is a member
of Tourism Whistler and the Whistler Chamber of Commerce.
We're relatively small and we intend to stay that way in order to maintain
a professional yet personal operation sensitive to the needs of both home
owners and renters. We perceive a need in the marketplace for a company
offering a good selection of prime properties in a variety of ideal winter
and summer locations, yet small enough to provide the personal touches
for guests and home owners alike. Our first three years have been a wonderful
success and we're looking forward to continued selective growth and expanded
services as we head toward our fourth season. The people behind this venture are Peter and Elisa DeJong. Peter has a law degree and practiced in the Greater Vancouver area for over 8 years. His experience as a lawyer and administrator gives the company strong organizational and problem solving resources. He also has experience as a general contractor in Whistler dealing with local trades, with the unique insights and invaluable contacts gained as a result. Elisa was an art director with a Vancouver advertising agency. Her advertising and marketing background gives the company an added advantage in a competitive field. As the owners of a new Whistler home which was used for nightly rental accommodations, we became highly sensitive to the issues faced by other home owners (ie: revenues, expenses, security, maintenance, & other vital considerations). We are striving to create a special relationship with both client owners and guests. We want our owners to feel more like partners in our enterprise, providing feedback whether positive or negative, sharing ideas and having a voice in how their properties are handled. As well, we provide renters with personal services that make them feel like personally invited guests in your home. These services include a welcoming introduction to the home, restaurant and activity guides with personal recommendations, cleaning options to suit their needs, discount ski lift tickets, golf reservation services, a grocery service, a catering service and easy access to us.
